Pixie | Rubber Base Gel | HEMA, HPMA & TPO Free | 30 Free | UV/LED | 15ml | Soak Off | Clear | No Odor | Non-Yellowing

-Pixie RBG- A beautiful baby pink rubber base gel. This rubber base gel is very versatile in its coloring depending on how many layers are used.  This rubber base gel will be sheer with 1-2 layers and opaque with 3 layers.

*What are rubber base gels you ask? Rubber base gel is a base gel with more plastercisers added so it's more flexible and latches onto your natural nail better. Rubber base gels can be used as a base coat for builder gel, gel polish, or as a protective layer on your natural nail under a dip mani. It can also be used similar to a builder gel to build up a thickness and some length. Use it directly on your natural nails to reduce lifting and provide long term adhesion under dip or gel manis. The adherence of rubber gel is phenomenal compared to regular gel base coat.

Rubber base gel gets its name from its physical characteristics. It is slightly flexible with a rubber-like feel(does not contain latex) compared to structural builder gel. It is made from the same ingredients as other gels, but processed to make it more elastic and flexible (with less breakage and chipping), and to improve adherence. It works well with flexible, thin, damaged nails vs structural builder gel or nail dip because it moves with the nail plate. Structural builder gels and nail dip are rigid coatings trying to hold onto a moving and flexible nail plate, but they often separate or chip.

You can use it to create a slight extension, using forms, but only to about a centimeter as it's not a structural builder gel. Builder gel can be used together with rubber gel in layers to get the best adhesion while also being able to create a longer extension. It can also be used by itself on longer lengths when applied over your long natural nails.

>Bling Rubber Base Gel Uses:

-Can be used to attach full coverage nail tips, decals, foils, or rhinestones.

-Used to repair tears and breaks in nails and add a short extension

-Used to reinforce weak nails and level out uneven nails.

-Used to create 3D effects as you would with molding gel.

-Used to create spreading effects such as marble, natural stone, watercolor, or floral designs as you would with blooming gel or blossom gel.

-Used as a mixing gel to mix colors together

**Gels require a UV/LED light to cure them, a gel base coat for maximum adhesion (rubber base gels do not need a gel base) and a gel top coat for a shiny and protective finishing layer. Using our PH Bond and Acid Free Primer are optional, but the use of them can promote a stronger adhesion to your natural nails.

*Gels come in 15ml (0.5oz.) size and ingredients are shown in a photo above. The exact number of manis you'll get from the product depends on the length of your nails and the amount of product you use.

Bling has amazing gel products that are all free of HEMA, HPMA, TPO, formaldehyde, and 30 other harsh chemicals and known allergy causing ingredients. Our gels are low to no odor, quick dry cure time, non-yellowing, non-burning, long lasting, vegan, and cruelty free! The viscosity is on the thinner side (but not too thin) for ease of application. The shine and durability are top of the line in quality and all of our clear gels are crystal clear. They will cure solid, but can be removed by soaking in acetone filing off, it using a gel remover.

*Cure Gels Thoroughly: It is very important that you thoroughly cure your gels. One of the fastest ways to get a gel allergy is to not fully cure your gels or not properly clean all gel off your skin with isopropyl alcohol before curing. While Bling's gels are very clean and eliminate the worst of the allergen ingredients, you can still become allergic to any gel ingredient if not properly applied to your nail or thoroughly cured. Fully cured gels, when kept off the cuticles and skin, will also aid in proper adhesion to your nail. Bling's rubber base gels should be firm and only slightly pliable with an added gel top coat. If they're gooey, overly bendable, peeling, or anything short of firm, they may not be fully cured. Historically, 48-watt lamps were the industry standard to cure basic gels but that no longer seems to be sufficient. The output through the lights is different than wattage into the lamp. With 48 watts worth of electricity going in, the energy coming out of the lamp may not really be 48 watts and could be less. There's no industry standard controlling how these lamps are made or how well they work. It is very important to have a strong lamp. Therefore, Bling recommends using a 100 watt or higher lamp for advanced gels, which should also be sufficient to cure other gels. Lamps are very inexpensive, and you certainly don't have to buy the most expensive one out there.

**The Do's & Don’ts with Gel: The gel industry has recently published information advising agaist the use of cuticle oil, cream, or lotion immediately following a gel mani without first thoroughly washing your hands. This can spread possible uncured gel remnants on your skin and trap it under the cuticle oil. For this reason, Bling highly recommends thoroughly scrubbing your nails and fingers with soap before using any skincare products. Additionally, it is not recommended to wipe the gel dispersion layer(aka, the tacky layer) with isopropyl alcohol as it can also spread any uncured gel remnants onto your skin. Instead, apply a gel top coat over the gel dispersion layer to lock down the dispersion layer as best as possible. After your final top coat, thoroughly wash your nails and fingers with soap to remove any residual uncured gel remnants.

*Gel Shipping: All Bling gels, aka liquids, are required by law to ship by ground shipping. Ground shipping is typically 2 to 8 days. Any gels that are purchased along with dips will all be shipped ground shipping together and cannot be sent through priority mail.

**COLORS CAN VARY FROM WHAT YOU SEE ON YOUR ELECTRONIC DEVICE: We do everything possible to make sure dips and gels are accurately represented. Due to electronic device screen differences, the number of layers used, different brands of dipping liquids, and even skin tone, the colors may not appear the same as you see on the electronic screen.
